Discuss This ServiceMagnetic Closure Box Manufacturer in Dubai, UAE
Nivada Box is a magnetic closure box manufacturer in Dubai, UAE specialising in rigid boxes with magnet closures, book-style magnetic boxes, magnet-sealed lids and magnetic gift packaging for brands that need a consistent pull.
The Closure, Not the Carton
Most magnetic boxes are assembled correctly and specified wrongly. The magnet is chosen for price rather than pull, and the board for its caliper rather than its ability to hold a magnet.
Three variables decide whether a magnetic closure works. Neodymium gives a stronger pull from a smaller body, while ferrite costs less and suits a lighter opening. The board needs enough material around the magnet to stop the pull punching through, which is why closures rarely work below 2.0mm.
Nivada Box manufactures these boxes in Dubai, UAE with routing, assembly and pull testing alongside board cutting. That is what lets us say when a structure does not need a magnet, and when a tamper-evident box needs a different mechanism altogether.
Magnetic Closure Styles
Twelve closure-led structures. Each one is quoted around the magnet it carries, the board that has to hold that magnet and the pull force the product deserves, then built to your dimensions and aligned on production tooling.
The dependable magnetic build: a deeper base and a lid cut to seat flat, with a matched magnet pair in each.

The failures are predictable. A neodymium magnet glued to 1.5mm board pulls its own weight out of the sheet the first time the box is opened properly. Two magnets fitted by hand drift apart on the shelf and stop meeting. A pull far stronger than the product needs makes an unboxing feel like a fight. And a magnet surface-mounted on the flap leaves a visible step that the customer feels before anything else.

Discuss This ServiceWhy Magnetic
There is no hinge, clasp or catch to work loose. A magnet either meets its pair or it does not, which removes the most common failure in rigid packaging.
The pull is the first thing a customer feels. Tuned correctly it signals care and controlled quality before a single word of packaging copy is read.
Cut on shared tooling, the magnet faces meet at the same point every time, so a box that shut well on the sample shuts well on run four hundred.
Unlike tape, glue or shrink, a magnetic box can be opened and closed repeatedly without peeling, tearing or leaving a mark on the board.
Industries We Serve
A ring box and a corporate welcome kit want opposite pulls. The magnet is tuned to what is inside the box, how valuable it is and how often the box will be reopened, so the same closure never gets specified twice in this factory.

Use Cases
When the opening is the marketing, a tuned pull delivers the reveal without the mechanism ever being seen or heard.
A light, precise pull protects a delicate piece while still making the presentation feel deliberate.
A magnetic lid keeps compartments closed through couriers, so the kit arrives as designed rather than part-packed.
A reusable box lets the recipient keep it, which is worth the extra spend when the gift must stay on display.
Seasonal magnetic runs stay aligned across the batch, so a shared table of boxes looks deliberate rather than assembled.
A magnetic lid lets a customer open, look and close a product on the shelf without damaging the packaging.
Finishing Details
The magnet decides how the box works; finishing decides whether anyone notices it. A visible magnet step, a soft-touch surface and a foil line that runs into the crease all read differently in the hand.

Pricing Factors
A magnetic box is a rigid box with an engineered mechanism added, so the price is a rigid box price plus a magnet decision. Four variables move it, and the magnet grade moves it furthest.
Neodymium delivers a much stronger pull from a smaller body than ferrite, and it costs more. A box that does not need neodymium should not be paying for it.
Rigid board is the base cost, and a magnetic closure normally requires 2.0mm or heavier to stop the pull deforming the panel.
A routed channel and shared tooling add cutting and setup time, but they are what keep the closure consistent across the run.
Print, foil, embossing and soft-touch are priced per requirement, and larger runs spread the same board, tool and setup further.
Send the product, its weight, the external size and your run quantity. We will come back with a magnet grade, a pull force and a unit price — and tell you plainly if the box does not need a magnetic closure at all.
Our Process
A magnetic build adds steps to the rigid sequence, and the order matters: board is conditioned before it is creased, and the magnet is seated before the box is closed, or the pull is never measured properly.
Tell us what goes inside, what it weighs, how large the closed box should be and how many you need.
We settle the magnet grade, body size, pull force, board caliper, routing and wrap against your brief.
A physical sample is built and the closure pull measured, so you can judge the feel before bulk is cut.
Channels are cut, magnets seated flush, boxes assembled, and print, foil and edge work applied in-house.
Every closure is checked for registration and pull, then packed and delivered across the UAE.
Samples & Delivery
Open it, close it, feel the pull, check that the lid seats flat — then we cut the run. Finished magnetic closure boxes leave our Dubai facility for every emirate in the country.
We build a sample with the specified magnet and board so you can feel the closure and judge whether the pull suits the product.
Routing and assembly add time beyond a plain rigid box, so we confirm a realistic production date up front.
Finished magnetic boxes ship to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, with the window agreed against your production date.
Approved magnet and board are held against the specification, so alignment does not drift across a long run.

Magnetic Closure Manufacturing in the UAE
Businesses across the UAE choose Nivada Box for magnetic closure boxes in Dubai, UAE when the opening has to be consistent on every single unit. We cut the board, route the magnet channels, seat the magnets and assemble the boxes in our own Dubai facility, so the closure is built and checked in one place instead of arriving from three suppliers.
Consistency is where a magnet either earns its cost or becomes a complaint. A brand running seasonal magnetic boxes year after year needs run three to close exactly like run one, and the registration between lid and base is what guarantees it. It is also why our magnet quotes hold up: we know which grade is fitted, how deep the channel is cut and what the pull measures once the box is assembled.
Buying Guide
Product weight, external size, who opens it and run volume. Answer these four and the magnet grade, the pull force and the structure price themselves.
How heavy is what the box carries, and how valuable is it? This sets whether the pull is firm and protective or light and delicate.
External size in millimetres and the board caliper you have in mind, since a magnet needs enough material around it to hold.
An adult gift, a child, a hotel guest or a warehouse team all justify a different pull force, and a luxury purchase justifies the strongest.
Target run volume, since routing, tooling and magnet setup are amortised across the batch.
Why Nivada Box
A magnetic box is only as good as the fit between the magnet and the board holding it. Splitting that across suppliers means nobody owns the outcome, and a closure that is 2mm out of registration is a fault that only shows up on the customer's shelf.
At Nivada Box the board cutting, creasing, channel routing, magnet seating, assembly and pull checking all happen under one roof in Dubai, UAE. That is what makes a repeat order land identical to the sample you approved, and it is why we can tell you when a plain rigid box would do the same job for less.

A rigid box in which a pair of magnets is fitted so the lid draws closed against the base without a hinge, clasp or catch. The magnets are normally neodymium or ferrite, seated into a routed channel in the lid and the base so the closure sits flush and the box can be reopened repeatedly without damaging the board.
Strong enough to hold the box shut in transit and to feel deliberate in the hand, but not so strong that opening it becomes a struggle. We match pull force to the weight and value of the product, the board caliper carrying the magnet and who is opening the box. A jewellery box wants a light, precise pull; a corporate kit wants a firmer one that survives a courier.
Neodymium gives a much stronger pull from a smaller magnet body, which matters when the box is thin or the closure area is small. Ferrite costs considerably less and suits boxes that want a lighter, more deliberate opening. Most boxes do not need neodymium, and we will tell you when ferrite will do the same job.
No, and this is where most magnetic boxes fail. A magnet needs enough material around it to stop the pull deforming or punching through the panel, which is why magnetic closures are rarely sensible below 2.0mm board. On thinner board you would need a smaller or weaker magnet, or a different structure altogether.
Occasionally, and it depends what the product is. Strong neodymium magnets can interfere with compass needles, magnetic storage and some electronics, and can mark a screen or a polished surface if in direct contact. If the product is sensitive, we can specify a weaker ferrite grade, increase the magnet-to-product distance, or recommend a mechanical closure instead.
Around 2.0mm is the practical minimum, with 2.5mm and 3.0mm giving a noticeably firmer and more consistent pull because the panel is stiffer around the magnet. Thicker board is not automatically better, but a very light pull on thin board will feel weak and will drift out of alignment as the box is handled.
Yes, and that is one of the main reasons brands choose them. Because the closure is magnetic rather than taped or glued, the box can be opened and closed many times without peeling a label, tearing a wrap or crushing a corner. Gift boxes that stay on a recipient's shelf are a common reason to spend the extra on a mechanism rather than a sticker.
A magnetic box is priced as a rigid box plus a magnet decision, so the caliper, the external size and the structure set the base and the magnet grade adds to it. Neodymium costs more than ferrite, routing and shared tooling add setup, and larger runs spread all of it further. Send the product, weight, size and quantity and we will price the closure as well as the carton.
Not reliably on its own, because a magnet can be drawn apart deliberately. If tamper evidence is the requirement, we would normally add a seal, a security tie or a numbered closure over the magnet so that opening the box is visible. Tell us that this is the goal, because it changes the structure rather than just the magnet.
Yes, we dispatch to every emirate in the country. Finished magnetic closure boxes go out to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, and the delivery window is agreed against your production date rather than quoted as a generic one.
