Sheet-Fed Offset Printing
The standard process for high-quality rigid board, carton and heavy paper at volume.

Offset is the right answer once a run is long enough to earn back its plates. We make the plates, manage the colour and run make-ready properly, so a 10,000-box order looks like the 500-box sample you approved.
When Offset Wins
Offset spreads a fixed cost — plate imaging, make-ready and press time — across every impression in the run. The longer the run, the smaller that fixed cost becomes. Below a certain quantity digital is simply cheaper; above it, offset wins decisively. Judging which side of that line your job falls on is the first thing we do, and we will tell you honestly if your run is too short for offset to be the right call.

An offset run is won or lost in prepress. Imposition, trapping, dot gain and total ink coverage all shift between stock, so we check the file against the board you have actually bought rather than against a generic profile.
Offset Services
Prepress, plate making, press and finishing are handled in-house, so the dieline, the board and the ink stay under one specification from proof to delivery.

Discuss This ServiceWhy Offset at Volume
Once plates and make-ready are absorbed, each additional impression costs a fraction of the first few hundred.
Control strips and densitometry keep density steady from the first signature to the last.
Full four-colour plus white and varnish, which no low-cost process matches on heavy board.
Return for the same run months later and the plates are imaged again from the stored files.
Industries We Print For
High-volume programmes run into the same pressure points: grammage, coverage and lead time. We set the press conditions for each sector rather than using one profile everywhere.

Finishing Details
An offset run is not finished at the press. Foil, emboss, lamination and varnish are what turn a printed stack of sheets into packaging worth keeping.

Offset Pricing Factors
Offset pricing is driven by run length and coverage more than anything else. Four factors decide the number you are quoted.
Plate cost is divided across the run, so unit price falls sharply between 1,000 and 5,000 impressions.
Total area coverage and number of colours change press speed, which changes cost per sheet.
Rigid greyboard, coated stock, kraft and corrugate each run at a different speed and price.
Foil, emboss, deboss and lamination are quoted per piece and scale with the same run length.
If your quantity is small enough that digital would be cheaper, we will say so rather than quote you a plate charge you do not need. Send the volume and we will tell you which side of that line you are on.
Our Offset Process
Five stages, each with a decision you can see before the next one begins.
Share print-ready files or a sketch with quantity, board and finish ideas.
We check the file against the dieline, set trapping and confirm total ink coverage.
Plates are imaged and a contract proof is produced on your actual stock for approval.
The run is pressed with control strips checked, then finished and inspected.
Completed orders are delivered across all seven emirates.
Samples & Delivery
You sign off a physical proof on your own stock before the press runs, and orders are delivered to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
A physical proof printed on the board you specified, so colour and hand can be judged directly.
Long runs take longer than short ones. We confirm an achievable date up front and keep you updated through the press.
Orders reach Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Your plate files are stored, so the same run can be reproduced without re-imaging from scratch.

Nivada Box runs offset presses for brands, distributors and gifting programmes that need consistency at volume. Prepress, plate making, press and finishing sit in-house in Dubai Silicon Oasis, so a colour approved at proof is the colour on the delivery.
Offset Buying Guide
Four numbers decide whether offset or digital is the cheaper answer. Send us these and we will tell you which process to use.
Below roughly 1,000 impressions, plate cost rarely pays for itself. Above 2,500 it almost always does.
Full CMYK plus white and varnish is where offset's gamut advantage becomes obvious.
Rigid board, kraft and corrugate are natural offset stocks; unusual papers may favour digital.
Heavy foil and emboss work at volume, where per-piece finishing cost becomes manageable.
Why Nivada Box for Offset
Offset consistency depends on holding everything at once — the profile, the plate, the board, the ink and the finishing parameters. Nivada Box keeps those together under one roof, which is why a reorder months later comes back looking like the original.

There is no fixed minimum, but offset needs enough impressions to absorb plate cost. Below roughly 1,000 impressions digital is usually cheaper; above 2,500 offset generally wins on unit price. We will tell you which side of that line your job falls on.
Rigid greyboard, coated and uncoated paper, kraft, and corrugated including E-flute and B-flute. If your stock is unusual we will check how it behaves under press before quoting.
Control strips and densitometry are read at make-ready and through the run, and colour is proofed on your actual board rather than a generic profile. We hold the profile and plate files for reorders.
Yes. Logos, patterns and copy are printed in CMYK or matched Pantone, with a contract proof produced on the stock you specified before the press runs.
Yes. Plate files are imaged and stored against your job, so a repeat run months later can be produced without re-cutting artwork from scratch.
Timelines depend on complexity and volume, so we confirm an achievable date up front and share progress through the run. Longer runs take longer to press.
Yes. Foil stamping, embossing, debossing, matt and gloss lamination, spot UV, varnish and edge treatment are all applied in-house after the press.
Not automatically. Offset is better for long runs, wide colour gamut and heavy coverage; digital is better for short runs, variable data and fine detail. Send your quantity and we will recommend the right one.
